Properties for Link or Folder Dialog
Used to view the properties of the selected link or folder. Opens when you right-click a link or folder in the Links tab of the Project Explorer dialog and select Link Properties from the pop-up menu.
The name of the selected link or folder appears in the title bar of the dialog. The list of properties changes, depending on the type of link you have selected.
Setting | Description |

Link Type |
The type of object that is the target of the selected link, such as a saved view, model or folder. |
Link Name |
The name that appears on the link in the Project Explorer dialog. In the Properties for Link or Folder dialog, you can change the link name for all link types. However, even after changing the link name, the link target remains the same. |
File Name |
The name of the file that is the target of the selected link. The file name may be preceded by a relative path or a configuration variable if you selected them when you created the link . When you use a relative path the file's path is relative to the DGN file containing the link. File Name can also contain full path of the DGN file. |
Linkset Name |
The name of the linkset that is added as a link. |
Folder Name |
The name of the folder that is the target of the selected link. |
Configuration Variable |
The name of the configuration variable that is the target of the selected link. You can also add a configuration variable expression such as a file path, file type or file name. |
Filter |
The resource filter that consists of a resource type, followed by an optional subtype. |
Full Path |
The location of the file or folder that is the target of the selected link. If the file cannot be located, the link is broken and this text box is blank. |
Linkset Path |
The location of the link set that is the target of the selected link. If the link set cannot be located, the link is broken and this text box is blank. |
Name |
The name of the target of the selected link. |
Address |
Web site address, e-mail address, or key-in that is the target of the selected link. |
